This guide sets up a school in under an hour.
Prerequisites:
- Your 4SCH tenant URL and Admin account
- Basic school structure (classes, sections, subjects)
- Payment gateway details (optional, for billing)
- CSVs for student/staff imports (optional)
Steps:
- Sign in to Admin Console
- Go to your 4SCH tenant URL
- Sign in with your Admin credentials
- From the top bar, open Admin Console
- Create academic session and terms
- Admin Console โ Academic Settings โ Sessions
- Add the current session (e.g., 2025โ2026)
- Add terms/semesters within the session
- Define classes, sections, and subjects
- Admin Console โ Academic Structure
- Add classes (e.g., Grade 1โ12)
- Add sections (A, B, C) for each class
- Add subjects and assign to classes
- Add teachers and roles
- Admin Console โ Users & Permissions โ Staff
- Create teacher accounts or bulk import
- Assign roles (Teacher, Head of Department)
- Map teachers to subjects and classes
- Import students and link guardians

- Upload the student CSV template
- Add guardians (or import), then link to students
- Build timetable
- Admin Console โ Timetable
- Create periods, rooms, and weekly schedules
- Publish timetable to the 4SCH dashboard
- Configure grading

- Create exam types (e.g., Midterm, Final)
- Set weightages and grade scales
- Link assessments to subjects
- Set up fees and payment gateway (optional)

- Define fee heads (Tuition, Lab, Transport)
- Create fee structures and invoices
- Connect a payment gateway for online payments
- Invite users

- Send invitations to teachers and guardians
- Students log in via credentials or SSO (if enabled)
- Announce and go live
